HISTORY

Harry Carson Sr. opened Carson Industries nearly 35 years ago with a commitment to excellence that began as a vision in his heart and mind. Mr. Carson developed Statesmetal™, an aluminum alloy which is poured in it's molten form into sand molds to cast products that closely resemble pewter. The sand casting process is a time-honored technique dating back through early America and to Old World Europe. Because sand molds are used only once and then recycled, every sand cast item is a unique original. Statesmetal™ is very durable and will not chip, crack or break.

Currently, the company continues to offer creatively designed and highly detailed Statesmetal™ items covering four important industry categories. These include wind chimes & garden décor, candle accessories, inspirational goods and table accents. Carson's reputation for creative designs, good value and strong service has helped the company maintain top rankings as a leading industry vendor.

Recently, some significant changes have taken place that should help the company continue to be a significant source of giftware and home décor products for many years to come. Over the past few years, Carson has been developing products from a wider range of materials and manufacturing processes. WIND CHIME ACCENTS

Carson has long been known as an industry leader in the wind chime category. We're actually a pioneer in this area as we were one of the industries' first vendors to offer a complete line of cast metal chimes with a wide scope of styles, designs and price points. Historically, the Carson wind chime program has been synonymous with strong sales per square foot and above average merchandise turns.
